The Fall Adventure Times has hit the shelves.
Inside its pages you will find some of our great fall stand-bys
as well as a few brand new trips, such as an advanced trip
series and a Trail Town bike series.
Check out the new AT online for great programming as well as
a couple stories and tips from the Venture Outdoors community.

Intro to Geocaching
It's time to dust off those GPS units you have been meaning to
use and learn how to Geocache. This four-hour program will
show you how to hide and seek "caches".

Wine and Cheese Hike
After a few miles in the woods, you can relax with a repast of
bread, wine and the best cheeses in the world. Now that's a
tasty combination! Minimum age 21.

Rock Climbing
After a short hike over easy terrain, we will learn about
equipment, safety, how to belay, and some of the necessary
knots. Afterwards, we’ll do some climbing and hopefully get in
some rappelling! A variety of climbs will be set up so that even
inexperienced participants (or even those who are afraid of
heights) can experience success. In this one-day class, all
instruction and equipment is provided for you, including the
climbing shoes.

Public Meeting on Pedestrian Safety

City of Pittsburgh Planning Department invites you to attend a public
meeting on Pedestrian Safety.
