Learn about techniques to engage your legs and core while walking, to prevent injury and hip discomfort. Humans are born and built to walk but injury, wear and tear, and aging can lead to subtle changes in body structure and function that cause disfunction and lowered your walking efficiency. During this Fit with a Physician Walk, our medical professionals will discuss ‘how-to’ walk, movement strategies to restore or improve your motor skill in walking. We will highlight walking patterns and opportunities along the walk to add healthy challenge your walking routine. Venture Outdoors will provide walking poles for participants to demo during this walk.
