We're working to reduce our carbon footprint!
With the help of Native Energy we are offsetting the greenhouse gasemissions associated with the 2011 Venture Outdoor Festival. Through the purchase of NativeEnergy’s Help Build™ carbon offsets, we will offset 86 tons of CO2 produced by the event’s electricity and energy use, and travel by all attendees, volunteers and vendors.

In addition, we applied for ‘green’ event certification under Zero Waste Pittsburgh’s ZIP waste program! Waste reduction, recycling, and composting are being managed by the Pennsylvania Resources Council.
