YA* Beginners Skateboarding Workshop

(*18 – 20 somethings looking to meet other young folk with a passion for the outdoors in the Pittsburgh area)

Join Switch and Signal Skatepark for an introduction to skateboarding. If you’ve always wanted to skateboard but don’t know where to start or you need a little kickstart, this workshop is for you! All the necessary gear including skateboard, pads, helmet, and ramps will be provided. You will also receive top-notch instruction, including the parts of the skateboard, standing, pushing technique, turning, and even riding down a ramp.

This workshop is geared towards participants ages 15 and up.

Meeting Location: Wabash Park – 101 Wabash St, Pittsburgh, PA 15220

If we cancel the event (only due to extreme circumstances), please reach out to us if you would like a refund or your ticket price can be donated to support our programs.
