Do you enjoy kayaking and want to take your skills to the next level? Join Venture Outdoors kayaking instructors at the pool to learn new kayaking skills, such as proper paddling techniques and rescues. All activities are “challenge by choice”, so try out whatever you feel comfortable doing. We’ll also give an overview of paddling safety gear you may want to bring with you on your next kayaking adventure. This course is geared towards flatwater kayaking.
This course is recommended for those with basic kayaking experience at a minimum. Boats, PFDs, and paddles will be provided.
We’ll take a break for lunch, so bring a bagged lunch. All participants will receive a certificate of participation at the end of the course.
