The Venture Outdoors Essentials
  • Signed Assumption of Risk Form (one for each participant)
  • Water (in a hydration pack or water bottle)
  • Synthetic t-shirt or long-sleeved shirt, light jacket or rain jacket (Synthetic fabrics will dry more quickly and wick moisture away from your skin.)
  • Synthetic (nylon, polypro, Gore-Tex) shorts or pants (NO jeans)
  • Rain gear (jacket and pants)
  • Snacks/energy bars
Nice To Have
  • Sunscreen
  • Lip balm
  • Sunglasses
  • Hat with a brim to keep the sun, rain or water from your eyes
  • Change of clothes for the car especially extra pants and shoes
