Join our local medical professionals while learning how to use walking poles and Nordic walking. According to the Arthritis Foundation, walking poles can help with balance and stability making walking easier while still providing a great workout. Walking poles help keep the body upright and symmetrical, improving balance and decrease impact on joints.
This outing will take place indoors at the Jewish Community Center in Squirrel Hill. Please bring your own poles or email the office at email@example.com to request a set of walking poles.
This outing is part of the Venture Outdoors Again Initiative. Participants ages 50 and up can attend for free thanks to generous support from the Jewish Healthcare Foundation.
