DSC_3314-199x300For the last two Wednesdays I have had the pleasure of joining the TriAnglers, a weekly fishing group, on the North Shore. Everybody is welcome to join the regulars to fish the Allegheny River near PNC Park. It is a relaxing lunchtime getaway for workers in the downtown and North Shore areas. It is also a family friendly program that is a fun way for kids to learn about the gear and the fish they are catching. Catches included Rock Bass, Spotted Bass, Small Mouth Bass Spotted Catfish, and Flathead Catfish.
A trip leader is available to assist you or fish along side you. It’s about havinga pleasurable, relaxing time outdoors. Skill level does not matter. TriAnglers is a great way to meet people from around the area. The regulars are a welcoming group who appreciate the midday break. Reeling in a catch always brings joy to any face no matter what the age. It was fun to watch everyone try to one up there last catch.
