In order for Venture Outdoors to continue to provide your student with the most effective tools to ensure we are meeting our mission of providing access to outdoor experiences, Venture Outdoors staff may use educational web-based services and applications such as Zoom, Teams, Instagram, Flipgrid, etc. Many of the Terms of Service and/or Privacy Policies of these applications state that, due to Federal Law, children must obtain parental permission to use their sites and often require an email address or other personal identifiers information. This form is to be completed by a parent/guardian in order for their youth to participate in a Venture Outdoors Virtual Learning Experience. This form will need to be completed for each youth participant. Youth participants include anyone under the age of 18.

I understand that by signing this permission slip, I, a parent/guardian, have read and reviewed the following:
- I acknowledge the virtual learning that Venture Outdoors plans to utilize and give my child permission to participate in session.
- I recognize that this form will constitute consent for students and youth to use these education, web-based applications.
- I acknowledge that my child will be held accountable to the same set of behavior expectations as in-person learning. See Virtual Code of Conduct for more information.
- I understand that my child may be removed from Virtual Learning if unacceptable behavior is displayed.
