Learn Your Personality Color

Youth Outdoor Leadership Series

These activities should be completed in the presence of a parent or guardian.

We all have different strengths. When those strengths are put together in a team, that team is unstoppable. The same goes for a leader team: when two leaders with different personalities work together, they compliment each other by bringing different strengths to create a successful leader team. When two leaders are very similar in strengths, the leader team may not be as successful.

Intro Questions: Think about a time when you successfully completed a school project or won a sports game. What made that team so successful?

Activity: Take this personality quiz to learn what color your personality is and what traits match your personality color. Your personality may represent more than one color.

Discussion: Look at the other personality colors, and think of someone in your life that represents each color. Why is it important that a team includes members that represent each color? Think about a team of all Reds. Would they be successful?

Video: Watch this 3 minute video about a two of brothers growing up. Think about these questions:

  • Do you think siblings like these two can have different personality colors? Why or why not?
  • Can personality colors change as you grow up?
