Venture Outdoors Corps Application
Venture Outdoors Corps is open to anyone 18-26 or anyone attending a secondary educational institution in the Pittsburgh area.
Over 8-weeks (Apr 4th-May 28th) we will meet once a week and learn about/get hands on experience in different types of outdoor recreation: High ropes/ziplining, rock climbing, biking, fishing, hiking/meditation, kayaking, and camping.
If accepted, this program is offered free of charge with transportation provided, if needed. Our goal is to reduce any and all barriers that limit access to outdoor recreation. After this program you will have the experience and knowledge to continue recreating outdoors and to share what you learned with your friends, families, and community members.
